Who here drives without front plates?
Has anybody been stopped by the police about not having a front plate in NJ or are they generally okay about this? Anybody been ticketed?

I have several friends that have gotten tickets within the borders of NYS for no front license plate. I don't really understand why, if it is required by state law, that everyone doesn't just put them on the car. I know that many times, it looks sleeker without the front plate... but is it really worth it?

I decided to take my plate off two days ago and got a ticket yesterday. My plate is happily back on today

no plate here for about 1 year and no ticket yet *knocks on wood*... looks 100x better and as for the question "is it really worth it?" For me, yes it is, if i get a few tickets here and there oh well, pay them and continue on with a slick front end

I live in San Diego, 07 3.0i Z4 roadster, made sure car came out of dealership with no front plates (ruins front bumper look), have been driving for 2 1 year without one and few days a go got pulled over driving 35mph and was told you dont have a front license plate, in my mind it was "go fuck your self" nothing better to do than pull over my Z cause cop is really jealous cause he cant afford one, loosers. Anyway, got no ticket and left after 2 minutes, and I did not put plates on anyway, yea right looser cop thinks hes gona make me ruin my front bumper, anyways, to get pulled over for such thing is rare so dont do it.

never gotten a ticket driving, but i did get a ticket parking in the city for no front plate once. lol

I have no front plate..... I told the dealer not to drill holes in my bumper before I took delivery of the car. I'm sorry but it just ruins the whole look of the front end.

i wanna take of my front plate but ill get rapped cuz i go to the city almost everyday!!....i want it of so bad its looks so sick!! but idk my friend got one in front of his house!

havent had a front plate on my last 3 cars... I get a ticket for it every so often, but the car looks so much better without it. I think ive had maybe 5 in the last 3 years.
What normally happens to me, I get pulled over for something and the cop will give me a break and just issue me a front plate ticket.
