Good price for new headlight & foglight install?

I just got back from Illusions Custom Shop in Queens on Qns Blvd . I am tryin to change the headlights & foglights to 8000k super white bulbs and the angel eyes to a emit a white light instead of yellowish. The guy over there quoted me for $800. I was wondering if thats a good price? Also are there any other custom shops in Qns or LI that you guys recommend.

+1

And he won't charge you as much as those bodyshops or installation places.

Actually, first off, do you own a e90 or e92, that makes a difference in the angel eyes setup. And as for swapping out the headlight bulbs, just post up a thread once you get the bulbs and I'm sure there are a few members here that will help you install them for a lot less than what the bodyshops will charge you.

Just my $.02

This way, you'll have more money left over for other mods.

And I think you should go with 6,000k instead of 8,000k. I changed mine to 6,000k and I definitely see the loss in the lighting output. If you go with 8,000k, it'll probably be worse.

I think that also included the 8,000k DS1 bulbs too. But even with that, that price is rediculous!
