Hi All,

So I "finally" got round to buying 2 sets of 6.5" mids for my the custom door pods.

Given that I have a 4 channel amp at the moment, with two channels being occupied by a 2-Way Component set.

I'm I correct in assuming, that I need to wire each set of mids in parallel to enable connection to the two available channels.

Further to this will I encounter any issue's if the mids are running at 2 Ω and the Components are 4 Ω?

If you have two 4 ohm drivers, then wiring them in parallel will produce a nominal 2 ohm load. This will not be an issue if the amplifier you are using is rated to handle a 2 ohm load per each of it's four channels.

Biz thanks for the confirming, I wasn't sure if an amp could handle 2 different ohm loads.
