2011 335i Sport- Bluetooth Audio?

I recently bought a 2011 335i sport package (not premium). It has the nav unit and I'm able to make calls over Bt, but I cannot find a way to stream audio over Bt. That does not make sense to me. Is streaming music over Bt only available in the premium package, or am I missing a very obvious setting?

Thanks for any help!

Bluetooth handling hands-free function is different from streaming music, that's called A2DP.

There are many posts here about adding this functionality, it depends on what's your end result.
If you don't care much about steering wheel controls for next and previous song and artist/album title then a $20 bluetooth receiver is all you need.

Run your vin number on a BMW online vin checker to list your
optons. If you do not have idrive streaming music is not and
OEM option with the Pro Radio.

To have streaming music you must have idrive / Nav and a combox
and the options must be enabled.

Well, looking into this issue made me realize I need to upgrade my entire stereo system and speakers anyway. I thought it was just a bad AUX connection and Bt audio would sound better. Nope, the non-HiFi or Logic 7 system- the base system on the sport model- is simply pure shit. Welp, guess that's the next thing I'm upgrading in this car...should have done more research.

So before you go asking questions about the base system.
Make sure you have the base system and not Hi Fi 676.

Yeah, I've been going through all of those posts. I'm fairly certain it's the base unit, but will find a better way to confirm.

EDIT: I do not have the tweeters in the door trim or any passenger door speakers. The head unit itself is so unbelievably plain and devoid of any lettering (i.e., no BMW Professional), that I'm pretty sure this is the base model.
