Clunking noise, Replaced control arm and end links
Have a '09 328i with a clunking noise at low speeds. Car has just over 95,000 miles on it. It happens more on just rough road at low speeds than it does on speed bumps. Took it to the dealer and they said thrust arm bushing so I had that replaced and it quieted it but the noise is still there. I read some threads and replaced the sway bar end link but to no avail. Any one have any experience with this?

When I had this issue it was my sway bar end links. They felt like they were tight if I tried to move it by hand while car was on the ground but when I loaded one side of the suspension with the front end in the air I could feel the pop/clunk and traced it to the end links being slightly loose. Possible that it is your upper strut mounts also.
