If you don’t need to do plugs, coils, or VCG/Valvetronic Motor Gasket/ESS oil leak repairs now then do the diff. MILVs pair up nicely with one of those jobs since you’ll be doing a lot of the same labor.
And sooner or later you’ll need to do one of those jobs lol |

Plugs and coils have about 18k mi on them; I replaced them shortly after I bought the car last November. Miraculously, the car doesn't seem to have any oil leaks yet. Ok, I guess the rear main seal was barely weeping oil, but I didn't do anything about it when I replaced the clutch and flywheel last November either.
