Front end links broke
I replaced my front end links with Lemforder ones 10k km ago and here's how they look now:
The RHS lower joint broke first while on a bumpy road - I heard loud reverberating sounds before the noise disappeared and steering feel went to crap. While replacing the RHS link, I checked and retorqued the LHS link thinking they were over-torqued but everything looked fine. Shortly after, I hear and feel a loud snap while going through a roundabout and the upper joint on the LHS link broke exactly like the RHS link. What could have caused the end links to fail? Installation error? Doubtful but who knows. Counterfeit/faulty parts? Parts have Lemforder stamps but they were purchased off eBay... Maybe my solid 27mm front sway bar?
