EurotekGmbH MSD80 & MSD81 Custom ECU Flash Introduction, Release and Details
We would like to officially introduce our company to the BMW community and E90 Post as a new supporting sponsor. Eurotek Designs, Inc./Eurotek GmbH is a German and US-based software development firm 12 years young. We exclusively develop tuning interfaces, checksums and software tuning for some of Europe’s premiere tuning houses for Porsche, Ferrari, Mercedes, Audi, Lamborghini, as well as small independent automobile manufactures in Italy, Spain and Germany. Our US operations are based in Ormond Beach, FL, where we have a race preparation facility. The NY satellite office is used for development and testing only. Our staff is mobile every day performing on site support for dealers, tuner shops and private clients. Our development center in Germany employs a full-service shop with a CARTEC LPS2150 AWD Dynometer with real autobahn air simulation.
It’s been our philosophy since inception to have and promote strong support for professional racing on all levels. And in that vein of professional racing, we also perform tuning on exotics, such as Lamborghini, Maserati, Ferrari, Bentley, etc. Through years of dedication and hard work in this arena we have established a well-respected name for ourselves worldwide and continuously strive toward earning top finishes in GT2 Class Rolex Sports car series and Grand AM for Porsche and Ferrari teams. Some of our accomplishments in development interfaces are: Campi Lamborghini ECUs; Bosch Motronics and Magnetti Marelli for Ferrari; Maserati and Porsche 997 platform, including TT (without taking the ECU apart), along with checksums and software mastery of the TriCore Processors; RSA technology; sequential gearbox mapping; Siemens EGS calibration; Siemens MSS65 MSD80/81 interface. This is just a small sampling of the types of special projects we work on daily which helps to keep our company on the forefront of technology in this industry. We have been working on this project since January 2008 due to the increasing demand. Our goal was to develop a tool for all versions of the MSD 80/81. The specific requirements for the MSD80/81 were that the tool needed to read and write via OBD/Bench. We do not offer the interface for purchase at this time, but we do now offer the tuning directly. We own two company development cars undergoing daily testing and TUV approval. Other tuners are not using this platform of interface we cant emphasize this enough this has been exclusively designed by our team in house and has been beta testing prior to its release last month. Eurotek Designs/Eurotek GmbH We are able to “read” and “write” all MSD80 and MSD81 versions for 135, 335 and 535. MY 2007-Present The ECU case is never opened or physically modified Currently undergoing official TUV approval The software in your car is modified, whether it’s V27, V29.2, 30, etc. No Generic “one tune fits all here” We are able to “read” each car’s data and store it in our database. You will never need to go to your BMW dealer for a re-flash to original Our tuning tool can “read” and “write” OBD and on the bench using our interface connector and external power supply. This is highly secure; it cannot crash your ECU Our tool extracts the full file inside each ECU with vehicle VIN #, software update status by your dealer and immobilizer information and lots more We modify over maps inside the ECU pertaining to Vmax, NMax, AFR, ignition, turbo boost, water pump cooling and full VANOS control. Automatic gearbox cars we remove torque limiters (faster, more aggressive shifting) RPM limiters can also be increased, depending on your fuel and use (6-speed only) Tuning for 91, 93, 98 and 100+ Octane is available to any customer Catalyst defeat is another option we can offer and are still fine-tuning at the moment We have two company test vehicles, 135 and 335i 6-speed MT We have our own CARTEC LPS2150 AWD Dyno with150kmh real air 180.00ccm3 air pressure in Germany. CARTEC is a real dyno used by Porsche Audi factories and tuners Dyno results are attached and will continuously be updated as we progress All vehicles tested are stock with no modifications to intake or exhaust Finally custom ECU tuning is available using the original ECU ensuring reliable progressive gains with added piece of mind along with competitive pricing. Pricing: Stage 1: $995 Stage 2: With various special parameters upon request, $1295 Stage 3: In development for modified turbos and other components 3-year warranty. If your dealer flashes your car, we will re-flash back for FREE up to a certain number of times. If your ECU gets replaced, we will charge you at a discounted rate for the re-tuning. I thank everyone for their time reading about our company and welcome any and all questions. You can contact us directly at info@eurotekdesigns.com. We will be making videos showing the process, posting map screen shots of what we’re doing to continually perfect our product and showing continuous dyno results. Our website is undergoing updates so give us some time to complete as we are traveling supporting some professional Porsche teams at the moment. More to follow when we return to the office. |

We have tuned many cars in Asia and Germany so far.
We are testing the Cat options now but cant finish until we return on our dyno If you see our odometer we have acquired a good number of km on our 135 so far with ZERO limp modes or problems. Our 335i is in NY with approx 8k miles. I will remark the 135 Stage 2 is scray it needs much more rubber for sure. |

Very cool. Lucky for me, you're only a 9 hour drive away. Do you see yourselves having the stage 3 ready for release to the public in the next 15 months? Lastly, can you go into more detail with the 3 year warranty? Thanks
Former Boosted IS, this in my option is the ideal route to modding the engine. If the warranty is solid, then I'm board.

ECU removal takes a good 5 minutes and Mr Fed Ex Man delivers fast so your car wont be sleeping for long
Stage 3 is in the works with a tuner we are developing for in Germany. Until all hardware is perfected and production ready it wont be released until its TUV approved. We cant wait to try it ourselves its going to be a pricey upgrade with possible engine internal upgrades. |

how about immobilizer defeat or option to clone spare ecu? so we may carry stock ecu and modded ecu? that would sell me in an instant.
my APR Stage 1+ audi 1.8T ecu has immobilizer clone so both ecu contain same immo3 serial eeprom so i can instantly swap back. Can you provide that?

ECU may be expensive we buy ECU units all the time I can see it already removing these ECU units multiple times people will break and loose things causing an obvious sign of tampering. |
