Complete set of BMW/Brembo Performance brake calipers plus new pads
I have upgraded to Stoptech's (thx, Ginger_Extract !) and am selling my BMW Brembo Performance brakes from my 2012 135i M-sport. These have ~90K on them but I recently refurbished them with new Racing Brakes stainless steel pistons with the upgraded dust boots (only two track days and less than 4K miles), so these are definitely a step above the used sets you will find on ebay that are typically pulled from wrecked cars. This upgrade alone cost ~$700. Thread discussing the upgrade here: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show...0&postcount=22 Also includes all lines and front caliper brackets. Cosmetically, they have some expected wear and tear on the painted surfaces, the drivers side front caliper being the worst for scratches/scuffs (for the record, I didn't do the scuff that affects the "BMW" logo, it was there when I got it!). The drivers side rear also has a scuff under the "BMW". I also repaired a cross-threaded guide pin at one point so there are some scuff marks on the back of that caliper where I dremelled off the head of the pin so I could more easily extract it. See pics below. Structurally it is absolutely fine. Bottom line: Functionally they are *better* than stock and would be an awesome upgrade for some E90/91's(I know they fit some), but they are not "concours" quality if you are buying for the look, at least for the driver's side calipers (nothing a repaint and a couple of BMW stickers can't fix!) Will include a brand new set of stock (Jurid brand) pads as well so this package has everything but rotors. Am also including one of the little rubber grommets that came with my stoptechs to stop brake lines from leaking while they are disconnected (these things are great!), as well as three spare guide pins I had laying around. Pics: Everything that is included. Front Left Caliper. Front Right Caliper. Front Caliper Tops. Front Caliper backs. Front RB Pistons. Rear Left Caliper. Rear Right Caliper. Rear pistons and extra stuff (rubber stopper grommet for brake lines and three spare guide pins) Dremel marks closeup on back of front left caliper. Asking $1100 for the package (*shipping included* to the lower 48 and I'll cover paypal fees.)

I don't think so. I believe they fit some of the 328's. I am not an expert on which models they can be used on outside of 1ers. I just know there are some based on threads I have perused and conversations I have had. Some also have to modify the parking brake to make it work with the different rotor dimensions as well.

https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...2e93/?pdk=AgME This 135i front brake conversion kit fits the following BMWs: 2006+ E90 3 Series Sedan - 325i, 328i 2006+ E91 3 Series Wagon - 325i wagon, 328i, wagon 2007+ E92 3 Series Coupe - 328i 2007+ E93 3 Series Convertible - 328i Convertible 2008+ E82 1 Series Coupe - 128i 2008+ E88 1 Series Convertible - 128i Convertible Looks like rear parts are not a direct fit on the 3 series from the notes at that page. I read in some other forums they fit but you forgo the parking brake, or you can swap the wheel carrier to a 135i one so the parking brake works.

All E9x platforms on the front but the mounting bracket for the calipers or the knuckle need some modification. Easier to modify the caliper bracket. 335i/330i/328i convertible/328i wagon/all xi models bolt on to the rears with no modification. Rotors are limited if i recall correctly 328i/325i need to modify the rotor or the brake shoe to maintain e brake function *note that only in the rear wheel drive 325/328 you will be increasing the rotor size. In other cases like the 335 and the 330 you will go to a smaller sized rotor with these calipers. Last edited by PORTMOODY; 01-03-2019 at 12:01 AM.. |

The answer is "it depends". I am not an expert on the swap, just know it is possible. Some answers are in the post above. It appears the fronts are a direct fit on most e9x but the rears may require some work to get the e-brake to work. Although I had an e91xi owner who did the research tell me the rears are direct fit on his car. I also know that if you have a 335, these look better but are a performance downgrade.
I recommend googling something like "135i brembos on E92" and asking questions on those threads so you are fully informed for your particular case. YMMV. |
