Do you want 50 shots or a single 50 shot?

Here is what a stock car with a 75 shot will do.
http://www.dragtimes.com/BMW-335i-Timeslip-12767.html If you honestly put V3, catless DPs, and a 50 shot you will probably blow something up.....

50 single shots is the way to go over one wasteful shot of 50 all at once. You can utilize them in a machine-gun type of way and rapid fire them off, one after the other.

Oh I'm dead serious. Think of it this way, if each single shot (1 hp) of NAWZ propels the car forward with an increase in velocity of 0.1 feet per second, by appying all 50 single shots in a consecutive way, by the end of the quarter mile (which is how I live my life...one at a time) the car will be going 5 feet per second faztar than it would have been without the NAWZ. At an average increase in velocity over a 1/4 mile which would equal 5 feet per second increase by the end mark, it equates to a reduction of 2.3 seconds of time, which subsequently equals an 11.05 s 1/4 mile. Hell, add 52 shots instead of 50 and you could break into the 10's!

a 50 shot wet kit should be harmless as long as the install is done right and you have a fuel guage to see if you're running too rich or too lean.

Well I will pitch in my 2 cents. A 50 shot should be ok as long as you aren't restricting the engine from expelling it quickly. There was a guy down here that ran a 75 shot (not DD, only when he seriously raced). He blew a seal on one of his turbos because there was too much backpressure(stock DPs and exhaust). To pull it off you would need a fully catless DP and exhaust combo and even then I would not recommend a 75 shot. 50 should be doable but only when absolutely necessary.

its funny to see the instant reactions from those who are against nitrous.
Nitrous has it's history and everyones instant reaction to nitrous is that you're going to blow your engine. The potential to blow your engine is there if you do not run it correctly. If every car that had nitrous in it blew up, im sure the nitrous vendors would be outta business and who in their right mind would install it. It's not meant for daily drive, just another cheap way to gain faster track times. If you could make it work, i'd be interested in seeing some quarter mile runs. My co-werker has a zex wet kit in his g35 and he runs it for track days only and his engine is fine.

ya Im very serios about it i have talked to people that set up Nitrous units for cars and 50 should be nothing for a 335 with mods maybe V3 will be pushing it but V1 with 50 to 75 shots should be fine they are 2 in Glendale That are on 75 shot bottles and also a E46 M3 that has been running his car on Nitrous with Mods its really possible to do so its just matter of if the unit itself gets a right set up , ive herd people running Nitrous on Civics i personaly think it should be really possible doin 50, maybe a little more research before Blowin up my motor should be the best thing

and also they are some people when they hear Nitrous they think of fast and the furious movie the reality with nos is exactly extra instant power for track days in a cheap way. when people use nos they dont push it from Second gear all the way to 6th that would be then something you see in movies but if you push it just right then Engine should be fine
