Indy Shops in SE Michigan
Hi all,
I'm moving to the SE Michigan (Ann Arbor/Saline) area soon and was wondering if anyone knew of reliable indy shops that I could get work done at. Also, do people in the area recommend a dedicated winter setup or can you get by with all seasons (I know a dedicated winter setup is recommended but was just wondering if anyone had gotten by driving in the winter with less than winter tires) Thanks! |

Curtis is well known in the facebook groups for quality work. As far as indy shops go, I don't have any recommendations. I do everything myself as these cars are fairly easy to diagnose and fix with the right tools.
Dedicated winter tires are a must. I'm currently on Blizzak WS80's to give you an idea. Very very mild winter so far.

Just got some work done at F1 Motorsports in Troy, and so far I'm pleased. They are enthusiasts, and as I was leaving one of the techs pulled up in his personal E90 335i. They seem to be very familiar with the platform.

I recommend Orion automotive in Ann Arbor. Very professional and honest. If there is anything I can’t diagnose or fix myself, that’s where I’m taking my baby. +1 on the Bridgestone Blizzaks WS80s. Hands down the best snow tire you can buy.
