IAT Codes

I scanned my car this morning with MHD and got the following codes...

Active:
29E0 - Charge air temperature sensor, electrical: Short circuit to B+

Inactive (Shadow):
2904 - Charge air temperature sensor: Multiple fault
2908 - Charge air temperature sensor: Multiple fault

Anyone know what to make of these? I googled but nothing useful came up. In fact, I found other definitions for these codes. The car runs as normal and crappy as it usually does with the latest MHD flash that has awful off-idle surging and bucking.

I checked the IAT sensor and it seems fine. I assume it's the one in the CP and not in the intake manifold?

I made a post recently on a problem I had which would trigger a limp mode on my car.

Between the codes I have gotten and yours, there is 2904 and 2908 in common which indeed shadow codes. The way our issues are presented are quite different, but I think these codes are just showing a generic error with the sensor readings (or the sensor itself).

I was just going to replace the MAP sensor until I realized it costed a bit much than I expected haha.

My opinion.. Take both out lay them on a piece of cardboard and spray them down with MAF Sensor Cleaner let dry completely before reinstall. I threw that code did that and it went away. I hope this issue is as easy to solve aswell if not keep us updated.

S/N i threw 29E0 - Charge air temperature sensor, electrical: Short circuit to B+
2908 - Charge air temperature sensor: Multiple fault
