with mod no problem. I barely remember the car stock, but I test drove XF Supercharged with a friend, and the car is very nice but could NEVER keep up with a tunned 335i.

The Jag makes 420hp and 413 lb-ft, while weighing aprox 4200 pounds.

That is aprox 10 pounds per HP.

The 335i sedan makes 300hp/300 lb-ft while weighing aprox 3600 pounds.

That is aprox 12 pounds per HP.

It would be a close race - but the Jag is probably faster.

He has a convertible so add around 350lbs to that and no he doesn't beat the Jag. At least in paper racing.

I have beaten the XF badly on our 135. Now our car is 250 lbs lighter but I am too overweight so that is balanced out We are pretty modded but we beat him pretty badly so I would say a well driven stock 335 would be neck and neck if not in the lead!

jag: 11.4 sec
bmw: 11.9 sec

1/4 mile:

Stock with v27.8 you win or its really close. Stock with v29.2 YOU LOOSE. My buddy's v27.8 with g-force regularly has 0-60 times in the high 4's, mine with v29.2 is regularly in the mid 5's both with 6sp man and both xi's. His a coup and mine a sedan.

have you guys tried switching drivers? 0-60 is such a variable figure that its not really that useful (condition of the tires, grip, driver skill, etc). does the g-force measure g-forces? you can actually see what the in gear acceleration is in various gears, which is a lot less dependent on outside variables.

yes..good question. we traded cars and a third friend of ours has an 08 sti. the sti and I are pretty close but he usually wins if I drive his car ( meaning the sti wins) we are all pretty close on all accounts. The only difference is we only have one g-force. Next time we go ill print out and post...
Ill use the strips print outs
