Help with removing fuel pump from fuel-it adapter
edited original post
Not to long ago I noticed my lpfp in the 60's and 50's with basic crusing so I thought maybe one of my lpfp's were going out or my fuel-it fuel pressure regulator, but after reaching out to fuel-it and never hearing back for over a week after multiple emails/posts on n54tech I decided to go ahead and tear it apart myself and swap the pumps to see if it fixes the issue. Long story short I tried everything to remove the pumps and nothing worked, I tried heating it up with a blow dryer, sticking it in a freezer and the only thing that worked was breaking one of the pumps off :shrug If I knew it was one of my pumps I would have just sent it to fuel-it for a replacement but since I never heard back I decided to ordered some backups online for when i tackled this because I dont have the time to wait on people who dont have the time for me. At least I broke the pump I thought was failing so thats a plus. I'm also starting to think it wasnt exactly a fuel pump issue, but maybe also a venturi issue since the venturi was floating above the slot its supposed to be attached to. Since I have 2 new pumps coming tomorrow I'm going to just install them, but I'd rather not loose the pump still on there as I'd like to keep it as a backup without breaking it. Anyone have any advice on the removal of this adapter piece from the pump?

Figured it out. They are twist off! I would have never thought that ever. I'll leave this up for anyone else out there who decides to replace a broken walbro pump from a fuel-it kit. This will save you so much trouble knowing this little bit of information. Looks like two new pumps will be going in tomorrow along with a little venturi modification to keep it locked in place.
