Seeking: Shop to install e92 M3 Rear End - Central/Northern NJ
Hello,
Anyone knows a shop that has completed a rear end conversion? This would be going into an e92 335is 6mt. This would also require modifying the driveshaft.

The subframe itself is mostly remove and replace. Nassau Driveshaft in Merrick, NY can make you a Driveshaft with the measurements amd the 335i DS for the Transmission Flange and the M3 DS for assembling, welding, and i suggest a checking over the DS itself. Would be a good time to replace the bearings in the cneter DS joint, as well as the center differential support bearing/bushing bc it requires splitting the two driveshaft pieces anyway.
The rear section of the M3 Driveshaft is unmodified and bolts from the Rear Diff, to the center diff bushing/carrier bearing. The front section of the DS cut to remove the M3 transmission flange and to weld on the 335i flange at the right length, so it can just bolt to the original giubo u int/transmission. m3 ebrake cables run up into the cabin to the ebrake handle. Theres also the shocks that mount to the body like stock but the correct rear shock bushing must be used as per the shock shaft diameter (Non-Edc or even EDC). |

http://tyspeed.com/ TYSP33D will take care of you. 2019 Pikes Peak contender, 2018 BMW CCA B-Mod Champion and overall great crew of young and energetic guys. Check out their amazing M2 Racer build. They are the only people that I will trust with my track car. Hope this helps!

Question, do I reuse the guibo from my 335is? Or would I need one from the m3? I intend on purchasing solid aluminum Delrin subframe bushings and powerflex diff bushings. Can you help with the part #s on the bearings and bushings you mentioned above in bold? |
