Selling my 2011 BMW 335D due to changing preferences in cars. Has no known mechanical issues (no SES, or CBU) and up to date maintenance. Love the D, very much and have thoroughly enjoyed driving such a fine automobile. I am the 3rd owner and purchased the car in April of 2015 with 28K miles. The car has always been garage kept and hand washed. If you have specific questions, feel free to PM.

Modifications:
Koni FSD shocks (with all new rubber mounts, stops, bearings, etc.) at 35K miles
Monroe rear upper strut mounts
Poly Rear Subframe inserts
Trailer hitch
Tinted windows
JR Stage 2 tune, with EGR delete and DPF/SCR enabled
EGR completely removed using EGR race pipe. Blocked since 42K
Forge Boost Pipe
Fluid Damper, all new belts, pullies and tensioner at 60K
Michelin Pilot super sport tires
Xhp transmission tune (full license)

Significant recent maintenance
60K transmission Fluid flush and diff flush
2019 Map updates with lifetime FSC code
72K - All turbo oil lines replaced, along with CCV hose/heater
65K – A/C compressor, condenser and dryer replaced (under warranty)
45K – DEF tank replaced
Oil changes every 8-10K
60K – Fluid Damper, new belts, pullies, tensioner
60K – new thermostat
70K – new fuel filter/oil change
60K Coolant flush
4/2019 brake fluid flush
10/2017 new AGM battery (h8)
72K – New intake air silencer / filter
28K – CBU cleaning
28K – new DPF/SCR

Issues: Car has been in a minor accident, rear ending no air bag deployment and fully repaired. The car also has a branded title and has a Manufacturer buy back due to emissions failures, these issues were resolved by BMW and modifications. Car has been a reliable daily driver for years, reap the savings!

Do you have any pics of the car? By branded title do you mean salvage title?

Sure, is there something specific you'd like to see thats not included in the pictures above?

This is a common question as a lot folks have not heard that there are branded titles other than salvage.

The car does not have a salvage title. The car has never been totaled, flooded, rebuilt and etc. It has a branded title with manufacturer buy back, meaning it fell under California's lemon law, due to emissions defects. In California you can have the manufacturer buy back a car if its been in 3 times for the same warrantied repair. Of course the car's emissions issues have been fixed by BMW and with a tune and egr block which is very common on these diesels. Its been running fine for years. I purchased the car when it was under full factory warranty and BMW repaired everything, its kind of like a "Refurb" car for emissions.

here is the info on branded titles.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_title_branding

this one is buyback.

For some reason, the pictures aren't showing up in the thread for me, must be something with my work connection as they show up on my phone when I'm off Wi-Fi. Anyway, I digress.

Given that I'm from halfway across the country, it'd be an endeavor for me to come to get this one. Please bear with me.

Are there any areas of damage to the car at all? Interior or exterior? If so, just a close-up of those and a quick description of size/area would be fantastic. Obviously, it won't be pristine as it isn't new and is a sub-10k car. Again, ~1100mi away so just looking to not have any surprises if I decide to fly out.

A picture of the driver's seat bolster would not be a bad thing, I know these cars don't typically have wear there, but that's a common wear point on many cars.
Another common one is the underside of the front bumper getting beat up from curbs.

Any rust on this car at all? I don't have a CarFax in hand at this point for it, so I don't know if it has been anywhere other than TX (and you mentioned CA), so I assume there won't be any.

How many miles on the tires? Even wear? How much tread is left?

Do you have any pictures of the rear end from the minor collision?

If you'd rather PM this to me, that is fine but is the price any different for cash vs cashier's check? I know to some people that makes a difference.

Edit: also, given the issues around TX recently, has this car been flooded?

The pictures are all recent. There is no body damage to the car the car. IT has some stone chips on the hood and front bumper, there is also a scuff on the rear bumper from what was likely a shopping cart. Generally the exterior is in very good condition, no scratches, dents, or door dings. I park it away from everyone.

No rust at all, the car has lived in California, AZ and Texas its whole life and never seen winter. It has been garage kept during my ownership.

Tires are fine, even wear, not cupped. The fronts have about 20K miles and the rears about 8K miles. I'd estimate about 40%-50% tread life remaing. Typically get about 30K on the front and 15K on the rears. This is the 3rd set of super sports I've had on the car.

Don't have any collision pictures, it was fully repaired by the other motorists insurance 3 years ago, no visible damage remains. It was a minor accident I was rear ended by an Acura on the freeway, it did not cause the car to be undriveable, or air bags to deploy, trunk was fine.

For me either cash or cashiers check is fine, its just a matter of making sure the transaction is secure. The car is fully paid off and I have the title, as well as both sets of keys, manual, original window sticker and most of the service records.

Car has not been flooded ever.

Thanks for the quick feedback and pics. I have to get some info from the bank (in a loan process to get new windows in the house, fun fun...) and once I have that info squared away I can make a move on the car.

Don't hold it for me, but I'm seriously interested.
