Installing 2nd front lip without drilling new holes

Hey guys,

I had a CF AK style front lip that got cracked beyond repair so I recently bought the same lip but this time in unpainted matte black polyurethane. I have holes in the bumper already. What's the best way to install this? Do I need a drill? It came with self tapping screws and bolts/nuts. I don't want to put anymore holes in the bumper and use the pre-existing ones if possible.

I had a guy tell me his carbon fiber front lip went flying on the highway and the car behind him smashed to pieces only 2 days after installing it because he only used the sticky tape and JB weld.

So, get a rear dash camera, upload the footage of your flying front lip, get 10000000 views, get rich and replace it with a newer one

I think the way I would go about this is to install all the bolts into the existing holes and then mark the heads of the bolts with a marker/toothpaste (something that will transfer to the lip). Then line up your new lip to get all the bolt locations and drill out the locations on your new lip and you should be good to go. Also I assume you previously didn't have the lip mounted with just the stock bolt locations and added screws/bolts in other locations for extra support, right?

Yeah, they drilled extra holes into the front bumper. I might have to take off the front bumper to do this. The lip I just bought is a cheaper ebay one and it has a lot less surface area to bolt on. Only the very front edge where it meets the bumper.
