I seriously don’t remember having any problem removing this. Could you elaborate?

no problems when I took mine out. Is the bolt down there giving you trouble?

That's correct, you may just need to muscle it loose. Does it not want to budge? Remember counter clockwise.....

I think it is a bad idea. It allows body flex to occur and you could possibly have a problem when it comes time to put it back in....

That's a really good point. I guess I'm kind of in denial about it and hadn't thought that the holes might not line up when it's time to go in for service LOL!!! Next time I change the oil, I will probably fit it up in there and see if anything has moved. Still, I love the UR CAI and wouldn't take it out because of this.

Mine went right back on... Just installed the AFE intake and I'm not convinced its making as much power yet. However, I like the fact that I got to reinstall all of these components...

PLease let us know what u the difference if any with the AFE and UR CAI intakes....I know witht he UR CAI, I logged the temps with the Procede Reader and obviously when the car is at idle the temps rose, but when the car is on the move, you actually see it drop at least 4 to 5 degrees even more( dependent on temperature)...

I'm pretty sure they will line up fine. I don't track my car and I don't think this motor puts out nearly enough torque to twist the front of the car so much that the holes wouldn't line up.
