Question Any e90's change their cold air intake ?

Have any members changed their intake exhaust for their 2006 / 325xi/sedan ?
I have only been able to find only for the 325i, if you have changed it please let me know, I am interested in maybe making a change if it really helps with some extra horsepower .
Thanks in advance .

An intake should span both i and xi models, as the intake has nothing to do with the awd.

don't waste your money on anything other than a dual cone intake... make one yourself for cheap, or get the aFe one

I have an '06 330xi with the injen intake, hamann resonator and remus powersound muffler. No problems with any of it. The only issue I encounter with that set up was that the hamann resonator has 2 pipes all the way back and the remus muffler has only one entrance, the shop built a custom 2 into 1 connecting pipe and no problems. I am happy with the set up. The intake sounds very nice and the remus muffler with the hamann resonator is very quiet I think, just a little deeper tone than stock, I like it. All those parts can be used with the 325xi as well. The horsepower gains are somewhat noticeable, the sound is better, the car can breathe now, you can tell the difference on how unrestricted it feels after the change and the new exhaust is waaaaay lighter than the stock one. If that is what you are looking for, go for it. Also, exhaust is not hard to modify if need be. any shop can make it work. Good luck with your search.

good but $$$$$$$

you're pretty much getting the same thing w/ any intake which is better throttle response. Injen is nice and claims higher HP numbers but its also not inclosed so my guess is that its kinda defeating the point of a "Cold" air intake and might lose some of that if its hot out and your engine is fully warmed up.

You really can't go wrong which ever one you pick IMO.

Yep, the Remus is nice, just what I was looking for, something with a nice OEM like tone. Along with the resonator and intake, my car can breathe better now without waking up the neighbors during quiet hours, LOL.
