Single Turbo Install, Aiming The Dump Pipes

I'm installing a JPworkz kit with a Borg Warner S366, everything fits ok I'm just not sure where to point the dump pipes.

What about out the side or hood? Might have to do some cutting but anyplace else I am not sure. Seems like something is going to melt if you don't get them out of the bay.

To be clear, these are the little dump pipes that come off the wastegate and not the downpipe. These kits are meant to dump down I'm just not sure the correct angle.

Ask the manufacturer of your kit, jesus.

They shoot hot exhaust and potentially flames out, don't aim them at anything.

I'm trying not to, lol. That's why I'm asking but I can't seem to find anywhere they fit that is acceptable. One points in the spot between the motor mount and subframe like other kits but the other tube doesn't seem to point in a good direction, I've tried swapping them and it is worse. I'm missing something.

If I thought he would answer, I would have asked him. Plenty of people have these kits, I'm more likely to get an answer from one of them.

I just finished everything except for the dump tubes and the turbo. I'll have to figure it out this weekend.

The joy of working with jp works!

As Milan said don't point them at anything you don't want melted etc.

There are pictures online of how people aim them. My guess is you have to point them at your MM. Hope it does not melt. Make a heat shield?

Haha, yep. Especially since I bought it used, I don't expect to get support.

That picture helps, thanks. I could only find pictures from the top with the turbo in the way. I felt like everywhere I pointed it, it would glance the motor mount or subframe. I'll give that position a try when I get home.
