Getting a SSTT soon and.......
What's my next step after for more power? No downpipes or Exhaust. Need my warranty people. Intake?

From there, if you want more power, you'll be killing your warranty. The intake won't give you much at all...

Not much will make a big difference except stepping up to a Procede or JB3 or something like that - exhaust and intake won't make a big diff - intake has been posted to be good enough until you get to 400 hp, so minimal gains if anything all all from an intake. Exhaust will make a little difference, but is expensive for all you get and will most likely void you warranty if you go anymore than cat back.
Maybe wait for the SSTT 2 which is supposed to be coming out sometime between a few months ago and 2020, hopefully sooner than later though!

Maybe a Streamline drop in panel filter perhaps. (very minimal gain though) but is the safest way to go

I have imagined what a car would be like with an SSTT and dual cones... but then again, if you just dropped in a K&N filter into the stock airbox would the gains be about the same? Sound is important too, I am sure somebody who would modify their car would want to hear those turbos! Of course, I would NEVER modify my leased car! So which filter would you recommend, sound being important too?

The dual cones won't add more than a few HP althought most of them claim a good gain - it is the sound that makes them worth it.
The AFE setup looks sweet and sounds good http://www.**********s.com/product.a...135_335_535_MW

So basically, the intakes and filters provide the same power except one os more expensive then the other? So why dont people just get filters and save money on something else.
Can someone direct to good products that last with good gains for a reasnable price. the Dual cone product is too much. Thanx! |

From what I gather, they shouldn't care about mufflers and tips. If you start changing/replacing CATS. then you might see dealership problems.

SSTT with Intake is great combo. I just recently added the aFe intake combined with my SSTT, it's a blast!

yea intake and SSTT is awesome... if you really want some fun, add 100 octane as said, man it pulls hard!!!!... intake, sstt are really easy to install and uninstall during dealer visits aswell. octane of course is pretty safe, as long as its unleaded.
