3 months and still no car ..why me

I ordered my car 12/28 ... dealer told me 6-8 weeks ... i am goin into the 13th week and still waiting ... the line still says in transit ... i call my dealer on few occasions he told me my car is coming from South Africa so it takes a bit longer - but his estimate dates are not accurate - and theres no way for me to track this any other way ...do i just wait it out ..this sux

Your dealer probably didn’t have an allocation for it when you ordered it, so they had to wait for their next slot which was probably a month or two after you ordered it. So they basically lied when they said 6-8 weeks.

Are you tracking your order on the Owners Circle? If so, it may list the ETA.

couldnt of been because i was givin a production number right away .. and i have been tracking it on the OC ..production didnt take long ... took like 10 days awaiting transport ..and has been in transit ever since ..but like many others .. no ETA is shown.

Maybe the ship has a lot of ports-of-call? Or maybe it broke down?

Have you used "The Ultimate Tracking Guide" ? You can find what ship you're loaded on, and it's itinerary. You can also track the ship's location.

Still, the dealership should be telling you something after this much difference in time.

Which dealer did you get it from? I am guessing Bayside BMW?

nah was bmw of manhatten ... i cant use the ultimate tracking guide because my car isnt coming from Germany ..its from South Africa ..so theres no info on that .. all i know is the name of the ship is SAPPHIRE ACE
