Replacement key
Any suggestions for a locksmith that can make a non comfort access key fob for less than the dealer? I have a working key, but the spare was recently lost.
Bimmer-tech.net can do one for $300. There's a guy in Louisiana that will do it for $100 if you mail him your CAS and a working key, but hoping to avoid downtime. |

Soooo....of course as soon as I post this, the key turns up. My procrastination paid off this time. I'd still love to hear if there are any suggestions for future reference and as a resource for the community.
I found reference to X Locksmith at the Watertown Mall, but that was a few years back. There is a locksmith there with a different name, but maybe just a name change? |

I called about 8 different locksmiths when I had lost both of my keys. One guy out of Woburn came out and spent 2 hours trying to hack into my CAS but couldn't do it. Ended up needing to send my CAS to the guy in Louisiana.
