HOT! E9X Wooden Shift Knob Almost Gone. Out of Production

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...d/25111222968/

Forum sponsor ESC Tuning aka Turner Motorsports is one of the few who have the stocks, Atlanta BMW as well.
They are out of production and will be gone forever.
One of the few mods you can have in your car and take to you next BMW, easily.

There is also ONE scratch and dent for discount.

Not going to touch the $11 crap from eBay, lol.

For different product number you can also find very similar looking OE part but for MORE $$$ for M.
Part#: 25112228601

Get them while you can. I just ordered one. I'll keep the OE. If I lose the car, I'll walk away with the wooden knob. They feel great in hand.

As for E39 shift knob not fitting E9X.. They sell another knob that fits both, LoL

You familiar with that site? First time I've seen it.
Are the prices to cheap to be true?
I bought mine on Turner aka ECS Tuning because I know they deliver on time.

Does anyone know how these wood trims are made? I know older cars that had real solid wood pieces. I read they are just slim slices of wood held down by clear plastic.
Is that true?

That's what I got, too. Not sure if that's legit or just the site using old SSL encryption.

They forgot to renew their certificate or were not aware that it has to be renewed.

Not a scam... their site resolves just fine and their old certificate does correspond with their site.

I got the $170 BMW Wooden knob from Turner Motorsports, it feels NICE. Leather is smoother real leather, vs bumpier leather on OE knob with silver metal.
Touch feels warmer especially in winter compared to meal piece on the original knob.

Overall all feels complete with my Walnut wood trim interior. Original knob was feeling out of place. Need to take better pics, lighting hasn't been good.

It's the same as stock. Except instead of metal you have wood inlaid sandwich between two layers of polymer.

Not cold to touch like the stock metal one.
