Coolant Leak near Water Pump?

I have a 2008 335i e90 and I think ive had a small coolant leak for years and it only got bad recently. I am guessing it is a plastic hose since the leak is minor when the engine is cold. When the engine is hot, the leak gets worse. I just removed the splash shield and found a mess of oil and coolant. Water pump works fine, thankfully *knock on wood.* I got the car from a family member who didn't maintain it under the hood.

Can anyone determine the leak from the mess of old oil and grime? Any help is much appreciated
