Anyone heard of FK silverline X coilover?

I was talking to a guy from SPP about suspension and he recommended FK silverline X. Anyone heard about this suspension or has it on their cars?

"We are sending an order to FK in Germany. I would recommend the FK silverline X. Its koni based and comes with a lifetime warranty. Its like the V2 in that it has valving adjustment. It’s a stainless steel body which is better for dealing with the weather and its elements. "

and it is 150 cheaper than KW v2

Thanks..still seeing if it is just loose..(installation issue that finally caught up with the car) or something else. Already changed the front sway bar bushings..still got a clunking sound in LF corner.

FK Silverline X kits are great. They are made in Germany and are basically identical to KW Variant 2. They both have dampers made by Koni. They have the just slightly different valving, but are 95% identical. Both are feature stainless steel housings as well.
Differences are that FKs kits have stainless steel locking rings, and rear collars, which are a nice feature. KWs have plastic rings and a steel rear collar. Both kits are awesome. I personally run FK Silverline X on my car, and could not be more happy with them.

FK is a decent brand they've been bigger in the VW world, then in the BMW. But in comparison to the Bilsteins I think I'd pick the Bilsteins but then honestly why not just go with the KW's.

are the kws that much better than the bilsteins? the only feedback i've heard were that bilsteins show wear/tear after 10K miles or so..

and is kwv3 really necessary compared to kwv2s?

sorry to threadjack

KW Variant 3 is not really worth it if you are not planning on going to the track every other weekend... V2 or Silverline X for a better price is by far enough for a daily driver..

Both have lifetime warranties.

I'de rather have the Bilstein's over the V2's. V3's are nice for those of us who know what we are adjusting and its effects.

Bilsteins have lifetime warranty on the shocks. Properly designed springs don't really wear out.

The shocks on Bilstein's have a lifetime warranty. Springs don't need a warranty unless they are truly defective (slim to none chance).
