calling those that went from sport sus. to kw v2's
Hows the ride compared to the stock sport suspension at setting X (w/e stiffness your running) Please be as honest as possiable as far as ride quality not handling. I know coilovers handle great when setup properly that's not even a ?....Im just trying to get an idea if i want to get coilovers or springs/shocks. I like the ability to adjust the suspension for different conditions however its not maditory. Ride quality def. comes first. If the ride quality is not bouncy and pretty smooth and not any harsher compared to sport suspension ill def. get coilovers.

We just did the KW V2 upgrade on our 335 and I am thoroughly impressed with the ride quality and setup of this suspension. We just came back from a 19 hour drive to Las Vegas and never had a complaint about it being too stiff or bouncy. The suspension is extremely smooth, albeit a bit firmer than stock, but nothing you couldn't drive on everyday. We are also running 20" wheels with fairly low profile tires (35 and 30) so there is not much cushion for this setup. If you are looking for a street worthy coilover system, the V2s are definitely a great choice. You may also want to look into the PSS10s as another option.

I am running on KW V2. 18 clicks is the hardest and I am on 13 clicks all around. So far I am very satisfy with it.

Got mine installed about 3 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. The car rides very similar to stock sport, just tighter, more neutral through turns, and it settles faster. It's still very compliant considering how low the car sits. Stiffness is set around the middle.
You can feel the road more with the kw's, but not in a bad way. I do a lot of driving on a variety of roads and I made the right choice. Before I got them in, ride quality was also my main concern. Go for it, you will not be disappointed. |

Even at their softest setting, the KWs are still going to be stiffer than your stock sport. With that said, at their softest setting, it will be pretty compliant.

I don't know the numbers, but when I had my KWv2's on, I had them on full soft and i thought the shocks absorbed the bumps MUCH better than the sport suspension. No more bouncing over little bumps losing traction on roads!!!
however, I'm saving up for the ride control bilsteins, so if you're interested, I will have my KWv2's for sale in the next few weeks... PM me if interested...
