No more sports for me (at least for now)
I just realized that I don't miss watching sports on TV at all. Maybe I'll get back into it once games are played again and televised. But so far, I'm good without it. Pro sports has gotten too over the top for me to enjoy. I'm probably the only one, but just curious if there are others who feel the same way?

I love baseball. So I miss going to Yankee stadium, and watching them on TV. However, every other sport, I don’t miss.

I’m like you baseball is my favorite and football is close second, but I miss coming home after work and relaxing watching a good baseball game even though I get worked up if the Yankees are losing!!

Same here. When my Yankees lose, it hurts. Watching baseball is my way of relaxing, and “ MY Time.” It gets my mind off what’s going on in the world. I have a Yankee partial season ticket plan. I wish I could be sitting at the stadium now.

Don't miss sports at all except for Formula 1, and that's just to see the cars and the nice locales they "race" at since even the racing part really isn't a part of the sport anymore.
You can have the rest of it, grown men playing children's games for obscene amounts of money. Hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of dollars to see one stupid game live. It's the same shit over and over and over and over again anyway, such a waste of time and money for many people who have neither. What I can't figure out is why all the talking head sports idiots on ESPN etc. aren't out of a job yet. Furlough them and give 'em a job in the MSM scaring the shit out of everybody concerning the Controlavirus. That's where the money is at now. |

I've never really been a die hard sports fan, but I do like to watch football and hockey on occasion. I hope this shut down helps people realize that athletes and actors are severely overpaid. They are just performers who really don't contribute much to the well being of our society. I feel teachers, doctors, and small businesses should get more respect than someone who can throw a ball into a net from 20 feet away.

I like watching some MLB baseball but not every day. Moderately interested in college basketball and the NFL. I will seriously miss college football if the season is cancelled and actually miss updates about spring practice. I don’t care about hockey, the NBA, other actual sports or video games trying to be sports.
