I do believe Evan described it once as "WAHHHHH WAHHHH WAHHHH.....BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEEEP.......NEENER NEENER NEENER..." or something like that.

It's just pretty much your typical multi-sound car alarm noise.

Contact our service department for installation details @ 301-890-3000 x4606. I honestly don't think they'll be interested in installating a Viper alarm though - it's all about OEM @ a BMW dealership

Additionally, If I oder it on line through Tischer, will the dealership still install it? Or do they want you to purchase from them. I am going to try the route of printing your ad and seeing if they will honor your prices. Can't hurt.

iDrive lets you chose whether to chirp or not.

You'd have to contact your local dealership to find out how much they'd charge. If you're local here to Tischer, you can contact our service department @ 301-890-3000 x4606 for installation quotes.

Thanks!

The only thing I care about is to make my 2008 335i convertible "chirp" when I lock the car. (I'll never use the Alarm) What is the cheapest device I can buy to make this happen?

I don't believe that the factory software will support the "chirping" function - you'd have to purchase/installed/activate the OEM alarm in order to make that happen.
