For the non-US enthusiasts, in the States today is National Donut Day:

National Donut Day is always held on the first Friday of June, and it always features lots and lots of delicious free donuts. The tradition kicked off during the World War II era when the Salvation Army created National Donut Day as a way to support men and women serving their country — by giving them free donuts.

And if you are Homer Simpson, life is good, especially when it comes with strawberry-flavoured white chocolate truffle icing with sprinkles:

Agreed, but drifting in a circle takes a lot more skill than doing a donut. I mean, I showed my 16 y/o niece how to do donuts in an empty lot with my F80 in all of 20 seconds with verbal instruction alone when she was visiting.

The resulting "donut" he drew tarmac was pretty admirable here, though.
