The Ninja Thread - Let's have some fun!
We have been beset upon by COVID-19, economic collapse, Antifa, Murder Hornets, Snaliens, and I've heard a black hole in the middle of the galaxy just opened up. We need a bit of fun today.
This is simple. Follow the rules, name your choices AND tell why you would chose them. I'll start. #1. Bruce Lee - The Master. Lightening kicks, unreal hands and multiple disciplines. #8. Michael Jai White - Power. Speed. Defies the laws of physics with the power he generates with his punches which are don't involve a wind-up. #12. Donnie Yen - Hand speed. Absolutely amazing in all ways.

Only one of the above has fallen out of a helicopter from 2000 feet, hit concrete pavement and later had his heart restarted by a car battery...

#1. Bruce Lee - a true expert focused on real life "unrestricted" application.
Choosing two more from those suggested (Benny Urquidez is sadly missing) is difficult. #7. Jet Li - marvellous techniques, a champion, but specializing in formal exercises so I can't be sure he would fight well. A weapons master yet - this must be valuable against (armed) ninjas. #2. Tony Jaa - he looked very convincing in Ong-Bak but this is all I know about him. #11. Chuck Norris - a "competition-proven" fighter/champion, but somehow I am not a big fan of his. #4 and #10 - I have no idea who they are: I never saw or noticed them. |

How are those insults? They are all positive attributes. I think the diversity would be beautiful.

Funny you posted this. I'm actually bidding on a salvaged 2017 ZX-636 F right now. I'm currently outbid at $2,000, but was looking for a little project to keep me busy so I might keep bidding. Have never ridden a bike before. Retail is about $9k according to my research, so don't want to go much higher than about $3,500 as I think parts will add up quickly. It's going to need some new plastics, a seat, and probably a new tank, but structurally everything looks intact from the crappy auction pictures. Not sure how long you've been riding, but any input on this for a first bike would be greatly appreciated. |

I looked at the pics and I don't know if you want to bid on that without being able to physically look at the bike. I'd want to closely examine everything with the fairings off. The swingarm being dented as badly as it is would concern me big time. I'd want to look to see if any part of the frame is tweaked. With the shot the swingarm took, I'd want to inspect the subframe/tail section too. With both sides damaged, this isn't your normal low side crash. I've been riding for about 17 years and have been doing track days with California Superbike School for about 10 years. I really don't advise you buying a bike like this not having any experience riding and especially since it's been crashed with significant damage. We can take this to PM or create your own thread which you'll probably get input from other riders on here. |

Damn, those are some REALLY good choices. I like all of them for different reasons.
