Excited for this since my garage is from the 1860s...use to be a small barn. I've never drywalled mine since I like the wood look. Unfortunately my ceiling is under 8ft so I can't have a lift.

I recommend not going with race deck, or plastic tiles. Learned my lesson. Tossed them out after 2 years.

Some good bones there. I'd leave them exposed if it were mine. One of those doors would be a dedicated spray booth/detail area and one would be dedicated for furniture, a fridge, tunes and general mischief.

Subscribed, love garage build threads.
Opposite experience for me, although i went with swisstrax over racedeck (had samples of both). Going 2 years now and no regrets. Color matters - lighter colors will stain regardless of bran. No issues with constant wrenching either, those tiles can take a beating. |

Absolutely agree: just cleaning and repairing but walls stay as they are. I also love the look.

The tiles will be only at the toolbox/benches end of the shop. They are the Advanta Tuff Seal tiles, they are the best I've seen.
