I use Michelin Stealth XT wiper blades and I like their performance. The plastic shell over the actual blade matches the thickness of the arms so it's aesthetically pleasing imo. Only thing is you have to trim the little cover piece that goes over it to get it to fit

I bought Valeo for my 2006 330i 2 years ago, and they still work.

Check the "premium beam" type on rockauto. About $6-8 each plus shipping. There are also wholesaler closeouts for $2-4 each.

If you buy the OE Bosch blades from FCP Euro you can return them when they wear out and get another set for free under their lifetime warranty. That is what I do.

Tried other brands... nothing performed as well as OE. Money well spent IMO.

The pre-lci wiper arms have those plastic covers that go over where the blade attaches. That cover does not fit over some aftermarket blades and it can look odd without it. So just go OE.

Just to verify, I looked for the price at getbmwparts.com, $32. I usually get new wiper blades when I order a oil change kit that has free shipping, or when the parts order gets above their free shipping threshold. $32 is a decent price for the blade set.

Valeo is the OE supplier. You can save a pretty penny while getting the same part.
But otherwise I agree with you. I tried other brands/types, and nothing fits as well as the Valeo/OE blades. Notably, the Bosch blades look very odd.

Bosch Aerotwin was the OE for earlier models wasn't it? They work and the covers fit fine on mine anyways. 61610427668 and 61612455439 for different dates on realoem.
