FRM Repair Needed In TriState New York City Area?

Looking to see if any local folks do this fried FRM (no blinkers, no power windows) repair in the area before I go with one of the guys on eBay.

You may have just tripped the short circuit counter...you can reset it in ProTools if you have it. Same happened to me as I was adjusting voltages...Motorcepts does FRM repair as well, $3ish range.

check with dealership

you might have a recall available on it, my FRM fried back in March and the dealership covered it, im out of warranty and I have a 2011 bmw 335i. I would check with them and see if your VIN qualifies.

Wow! Motorcepts is still around! They did my E46 M54 Valve Cover Gaskets and Spark Plugs like 11 years ago!


$300 sound about right for them...I got it done for $55 from the eBay 3 day turn around guy. It is perfect again.

Oh! I should've asked about that recall. When I called BMW Westchester they told me something like $1048 to replace it. I just hung up on them.

I knew it was my fault because I grounded my battery when I was installing a rear power sunshade.
