Dude, I hope you change the post to a better question, or you may get a LOT of flack for this question. It's been discussed a ton here already. Try SSTT for a search.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Turbo Tuner (SSTT): A "tune" (loosely used) that increases boost on our cars. To the OP: Still do a : and you will find the answers that you are looking for.

I had the timer on my turbo diesel f250, but when I asked about them around here nobody had much to say. In fact I got some of the same confusion about a tuner vs. a timer. From what little I could determine nobody makes one and few people see the need for this application.

the answer is NO, u dont need one - listen to that buzz that comes from your engine after u turn the car off . . . electric motor continues to circulate fresh oil through turbos

Just dont run your car hard all the way into the driveway. No WOT 30 seconds before you turn your car off. That should be fine.

I always take it easy the last 2-5 minutes before I park the car at the end of the night. Especially in extremely hot weather.

Lmao people with 335s dont use them its because our cars have an automatic one after a race drive normal to the destination and you will be fine. when you shut down the motor right after hard driving our cars from what i know should keep the turbos running very very slowly and thats why big companys like Active havent made one

We have an electric water pump that continues to cycle coolant through the turbos, which is nice, but there is still no oil circulating through the turbos so its not the same as running the car at idle with a turbo timer. If you drive your car easy for a few miles after running it hard it should be fine though IMO.

Do you think the REST button that circulates warm air through the cabin would help to cool the engine and turbos after shut-down??

You dont need a turbo timer..our turbos are water cooled, water keeps circulating after the engine is turned off (the water pump is electric). Non water-cooled turbos rely on engine oil for cooling..if you really want to play it safe, drive the car easy for a mile or so,or let it idle for about 20 secs before shutting it off.

a Turbo timer is really pointless for our cars. Just let it rest a for a few minutes if you have done a few pulls WOT.
