This...thing...doesnt blow me away so far

The DB9 was all good when it first came out, but now it's starting to look dated and I want to see a new design direction. Right now the AMV8 is my fav model, I love it.

Exactly. The Vanquish sort of spurred the new language, and the DB9 was a large improvement (much more streamlined and modern looking), and the Vantage perfected the look. The DBS looks good, but looks excessive and has a been-there-done-that feel.

Unfortunately that's how I'm thinking this is going to be. It looks like another DB9 spawn-off. We need to see a whole new design revolution; no more evolutions.

They've used the same formula since the early '50s and the DB2.

And if you build a front engine, rear drive, 2 seat (or 2+2) GT car, it's going to have the basic shape set in stone. It has been since the category was introduced in the '50s and only detail changes differentiate one make from another, and model years. This car just takes that basic formula and makes it even more modern and even more aggressive, while retaining the Aston lineage that goes back to that previously pictured DB2.

I think it's a good thing, and feel the same way about Ferraris and Porsches.
