Best performance tire setup for 335xi on stock 162
I am replacing my stock summers and wanted to 1) go slightly wider in the front - get it more balanced and add protect fron wheels from curb rush; 2) increase tire hight a bit, if possible, to get a bit more compliant ride (hate DC roads).
I initially thought doing something like 235/40R18 front and 265/35R18 rear (non-RFT) , but then I thought that maybe going squre is a better idea? Would I be fine with say 245/40R18 all around? The front stock wheels are 8 and rears are 8.5. |

Square would be best for balancing the car for road course racing.
245's will fit or either 8" or the 8.5" 162 rims (also 255/35/18 can fit up front but these would be better on 8.5" rims)
