Any comments on Billy Boat exhaust from Bavarian Autoworks? Seems sort of expensive and a little too loud for my tastes. Opinions welcome.

B&B makes some decent pieces. It's just a section 3 (mufflers) so I wouldnt expect much, if any hp gain

the one I had on my E36 was deafening loud... sets off car alarms miles away... not sure how loud it is on a turbo engine though

I had a B&B exhaust when I had my Camaro Z28. It sounded very nice on that car, and quality was top notch.

BB exhaust uses the oem vacuum tubing in the exhaust and doesn't delete the flap like 99% of the exhaust out there...I am not sure about the performance gains though for just a sec 3 only!

DO NOT GET THIS EXHAUST!!!!
My experience with this exhaust on the car was less than pleasing.
If you want a ridiculously loud exhaust with plenty of drone while at cruising speeds go for it, but it was so unbearable that I had to take it off. Also, I have a coupe and the cover on the middle compartment vibrated so badly you could hardly have a conversation with the person sitting right next to you.

I had the APR exhaust on my MKV GLI for less than a week.
APR exhausts are made by Billy Boat.
They made two different kinds of exhausts for the GLI, the sport and the stealth.
The stealth has a resonator to quiet it a bit, and this was the one that I purchased.
The drone was so bad! I just couldn't stand it.
Just imagine how bad the sport exhaust was.

I just saw this add in a BMW magazine yesterday and was wondering the same thing... the add said it was available for the 335i, but the website says it's still under development *shrug*

Regardless of performance/sound, why would anyone want a "Billy Boat" exhaust??
