New Camera - Nikon D90 ('08 FX Mini-Shoot)

I just picked up the new Nikon D90 DSLR camera (with 18-105mm Nikon VR Lens) and did a few quick shots with it the other day.

This is my first DSLR so I only used the camera on basic settings (auto most of the time) without a tri-pod. I was impressed with the vibration-reduction lens, even using it as a simple point and shoot the picture quality is astounding.

I'm looking forward to getting better acquainted with the camera, hopefully I can master HDR before my coupes comes in.

Randomly found a rock heart in the middle of no where..

Wow, surprised your starting off with a D90. Nice pics. Might wanna post this in the photography section though.

Damn, that's a nice camera. I want a 50D so bad, but wife just bought a new TV, so I'm stuck with the G10......

lol i was surprised myself actually.. i was going to order a Canon Rebel XSi (approx. $700) or a Nikon D80 (approx. $750) but then i saw this.. and $1,300 later no regrets
