Pre-LCI e92 330d - M-sport conversion
Hi,
I'm planning to do m-sport conversion of my 2006 330d e92 (bumpers, side skirts, diffusor), but I've got confused with all of the options and configurations, and I don't really know what will fit my car. Therefore, I wanted to ask a few questions: 1. Is there pre-LCI M-Sport kit, and if yes, how is it different than LCI M-Sport kit? 2. Will LCI M-Sport parts fit my pre-LCI car? 3. Is exhaust dependant on an engine type (diesel vs petrol) or engine model? I have 330d M57, and I have single exhaust pipe with double tips on the left, but I see a lot of double exhaust pipes online (mostly in 335i I guess) on both sides of car. Therefore, will M-sport rear bumper fit my car? Should I just buy correct diffusor, with the cut on the right side? |

Someone correct me if I'm wrong; but I believe the differences at the same as the E90.
Front bumper is different(not sure if headlight shape in bumper is different) but the difference between pre-lci to lci looks kinda minor Msport Side skirts are same pre-lci to Lci, Rear Msport bumpers are the same pre-lci to lci. difference is the diffuser; but there's also diffuser for the dual exhaust and twin exhaust tips (N51/N52 to N54/N55) |

Very helpful, thanks!
So basically what I'd need to do, is to make sure I'm buying the pre-LCI M-sport front bumper (or to buy LCI one and make it fit somehow), find a correct diffusor and rest of the elements should fit properly no matter if it's pre or post LCI right? |

You'll likely need other Msport parts; The rear bumper mounts, front fender liners, brake/oil cooler ducts, lower grills and possibly some more smaller brackets/panels.

Awesome, thanks a lot! I'll search for any additional parts I may need.
If anyone has some more info, or ideally, have done it in the past, I'd really appreciate any additional help. |

In North America, we never got 330 w M57. We did get 335d w/M57 which I have (Msport trim). For rear diffuser, did you consider 328i Msport type? 328i also has single pipe with twin tips.
Front ducts. I have checked and recall seeing the front ducts for msport are no longer offered. You might have to find parts from a rear ended Msport from salvage yard( you guys call this a breaker). Good luck. EDIT: I added a link for the 328i Msport rear diffuser. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...BoCef4QAvD_BwE Last edited by BB_cuda; 05-05-2021 at 12:12 PM.. |

I have a Pre-LCI with Aero lip and plan on replacing it with a Sport bumper then rear and side skirts. I think it's a classic look like the MTechII that I had on my E46.

The cosmetic mods had been put on hold for now. To paraphrase my father, son you have champagne taste but you're on a beer budget...
