Adaption values - no option?

I've recently installed a new injector and want to reset the engine adaption values for my E90 but the option in ISTA 4.28.42 does not exist and it doesn't exist in INPA 5.0.6 too.

Is there a reason for this? Am I using the wrong version?

Assuming your trying to put injector values in did
you try to put injector in the search box inside of Ista ?
Diesel is not widely supported in the online downloads.
Can you select your Engine type?
There are threads that tell you how to add diesel here.

There are ytube video's on how to do the gas cars with Inpa.
Diesel knowledge is not high in the US of which most of the members
here are from.

So I can put the new injector values in no problem but I have no option to reset engine adaption values.

There is just no option.

When I had the car remapped I had the EGR mapped out. Is this why I have no option?

I have tried INPA, ISTA-D and ISTA+

The dirty way to reset adaptions is to disconnect the battery.
And leave it off for about 20 or 30 minutes.
See the BMW Doctor video's

IF it is was and aftermarket program perhaps you need to use that
to get it back to stock.

I've watched Deans video on resetting the adaptions in ISTA D and + and the option does not exist.

I can only think that it's related to the EGR being mapped out as that is one of the adaptions that can be reset.

Another thing I thought was the version of the DDE?

I don't particularly want to lose the map if possible.

If you have custom tunes you are at the mercy of whoever
wrote those. BMW isn't going to support it . People find this
out when they run custom tunes on 335's
