Question Procede V3 Gas Mileage

Hi,

Sorry if this a repost, but can people who have the procede v3 provide their gas mileage?

How much are you getting on a full tank on average?

How much better is gas mileage over stock?

Thanks.

Jeez I've been modded with V1.47 or higher since 8/07 so I don't recall what the stock mileage was!!!

My V3 mileage has been pegged right at 21.5/22mpg.

I get about 2mpg better than stock. For the first 1500 miles when the vehicle was stock it got about 12mpg in town and 23 highway. I've got about 5000 on it now and it's up to around 14-15 in town and about 25-26 highway. It's a little disappointing because it's only marginally better than my old X5 4.4i, but I do drive fast as hell.

I've been driving stock now for about 6 months (for no special reason). I've maintained about 23 mpg avg with combined city and highway driving, along with some very spirited driving.

I inherited a lead foot the same time I bought the V3. So my mpg has gone to s@#$. LOL

I think I'm at about 220-230 miles to the tank.........

It's hard not to step on it every chance I get, especially with other supporting mods( catless DP, DCI). And we have Shiv to thank for this!!

hmm. those are some interesting numbers.

I have heard from a friend who has a v3, and he gets 25 mpg combined. On a recent road trip, he got 34mpg on highway, with around 490 to the full tank....

I guess it all depends on how you drive...

Its so hard no to get on it especially with a tune, but the sad part of it is the fact that there is too many cars on the road to enjoy it...The best is very early in morning when the highway is empty, but there are alot of highway2 waiting for the opportunity to pull you over! Drove about 70 miles today and not even able to hit past 70 MPH!!!!!!!

My mileage has increased ~ 2mpg on the highway; now averaging 24-25 hwy (got as high as 27-28mpg hwy a couple of times, driving a steady 65-70mph like a granny for a while ) and 21-22mpg mix city/hwy. But, I also have the aFe DCI and SwoopScoops, not that higher mpg is proven with any of the mods.

That is unreal! In the UK a gallon is more (4.1 ish litres compared to 3.8litres in the US) so i should get more miles out of one gallon. Our octane is also a minimum of 95 too. BUT I get aprox 34 miles on a long drive and overall I get 28mpg. That is a UK 335i manual with an SSTT fitted. By the way I am not 80 years old either. I keep my foot in quite a lot. When I last filled up the computer was saying about 420 miles to refill again iirc
