Coding in MA?
Hi
I have a 2006 325I. Passenger rear window is dead and would cost about $1500 to fix. I manage to push the window up and don't plan to fix this but the "window" error keep popping up every 10-15 seconds and it's really annoying. I was wondering if that error can be code out? Thank you |

It's probably the window regulator or the motor, which shouldn't cost nearly that much to fix. If that's the issue, the part is around $150 for Genuine BMW from the dealer or under $100 for OEM or aftermarket. Probably 1-2 hrs of labor at a shop or it's a pretty easy DIY.

Is this for an E90? The motor and reg are under $200 on FCP. Did they say which box? They could be trying to scam you for the box that is reporting the code.

Yes this is for an E90. It's the electronic junction box. Part cost is like $600. Yes I am bringing it to another place for second opinion. Thank you all!
