ryan, sorry to go off topic but I didn't want to make a different thread on this.

Are guys distributor of TEIN suspension also? I see that you guys get lots of parts from alot of different companies out there.. I thought I should ask.

What should I expect to pay for installation of H&R sport springs on an E90? I was just quoted $465. The place that gave me the quote told me that the rears are "a pain in the butt" as the "whole rear strut assembly has to come out." Can anyone confirm this? Sounds like a lot. I don't mind paying that much if that's the norm, but I, of course, don't want to get robbed

the place that i got mine installed was charging $150 if you brought in your own set of springs......

thats way to much for just the installation.. if that includes springs thats okay, but not just for labor. we charge 350 installed during this month only...

You are very limited as far as shops go. Plus, things are not the cheapest on the island. I can tell you that you dont have to completely remove the rear shock assembly if your only installing springs.

Good luck, I think your best bet is to try and bargain with them and see if you can get the price lower, also, don't forget about the alignment.

I really miss Maui!! My wife and I were there last July for our wedding.

Yeah, the $465 was only for installation. They, however can get the springs for only $265 shipped to Maui.

The only other place I would have trusted previously, damaged the paint on two of my 20" wheels when I took the car in to have them rebalanced. I wonder what they would do to the car if they were to take off the wheels AND install springs =)!
