OBD no communication
October 2007 E91 2.0i
OBD Powers up, but will not connect to INPA (shows battery and ignition on) - No communication with modules Similarly, ISTA wont recognise car. Snapon Solus Ultra reads vin, no module comms. Known good cable setup - connects to E63 / E61 fine. Light comes on as usual, slide switch makes no difference. Correct power to port, 2.5v to CAN pins, good earths, good 12v. No pin damage visible, pins correctly wired. Cluster works, fuse good. Swapped JBE (junction box) with identical part number from breaker, still no joy. Everything else working perfectly. Help!! |

Make sure your laptop or whatever using inpa is set to com1, I had the same issue took me 20 minutes to figure out my laptop switched to com3 instead of com1 and everything worked fine after
