Oil change supplies?

hey guys, new to this thread but did do the search for oil changes, planning to do it myself and wondering just where would you guys recommend getting the supplies. Seems like most of you buy your oil from the states, any dealerships that are worth buying from?

get the OEM filter only?
and then use aftermarket engine oil is ok too@@

local dealers will be expensive as they would want you to do the oil change with them...i've asked a long time ago at my dealer and they wanted $9.xx a liter for the BMW oil

try Tischer BMW, they are one of the vendors here and they sell oil change kits and they now ship to Canada via USPS

read in one of the forums someone had problems with border services and shipping oil from the states to canada. filter kits i wouldn't mind buying from a dealer or tischer, or has anyone bought stuff from http://www.bimmerspecialist.com/ ? bought oil from BJ BMW awhile ago and it was like a little more than 8.00 bucks im sure its up now.
