hey everyone will this wheel set up work on my car fronts 19x8.5 and 19x 10 since i have an 328xi thanks..

I don't know if this is true or not but I was told you don't want to stagger an awd vehicle. Something about screwing up the computer or something like that.

No, you want to put the wider wheels on front. It's all about slightly counterbalancing the weight ratio of the vehicle. Since the Xi is slightly heavier in the front, you need the additional traction in front. Don't listen to any of those nay-sayers - Wider in front is the way to go!

I hope this is a joke. Not only do our cars come from the factory with a nearly 50/50 weight distribution, but adding wider tires to the front of the vehicle will create all sorts of steering numbness. Not to mention the wider the tires are, the harder it will be to actually turn the steering wheel. Our cars are also heavily rwd biased and having wider tires on the front and thus smaller tires on the back would contribute to less than ideal traction conditions (read oversteer).

To the OP, there are a number of xi guys on the forum that run staggered set ups and haven't had any issues.

wheel size is fine, need to know the offsets and see if they'll fit in your wheel wells.

I'm not to sure of the offsets but I might be purchasing them from bavarianx. And I belive he has an e90 so that should work right?

Yes it was a joke. I'm running 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear.

I ran EX-M1 replicas on 19s that were 9 up front and 10.5 rear. Looks great, but the car understeers as it is and this made the high speed cornering worse (still very drivable but not for track). If its for show, no worries. Just be sure to stay within front/rear run rate ratios.

There are a number of good tire calculators out there that can help you select the right combination that will fit your rims. 10.5" rims with the wrong tire combo on a dropped car may rub. All this assumes you have an appropriate offset to start off with.

Mine come from the factory with 225/255 so I don't think that's true...

I have a 330xi with 19X8.5 front and 19X10 Rear and not a single problem. I did a lot of research and I am positive I won't have any problems.
