bmw e90 320d ED PP51
Hi guys,
I was wondering if any of you have changed the shock absorbers and springs on their bmw e90 320d ED PP51 to retain the stock height and feeling of the suspension(I read that the suspension has been dropped by 15mm compared to a 320d with standard suspension) If it's possible for you to provide the part numbers for the shocks and more importantly for the springs(I'm guessing you guys went for oem parts) I would really appreciate your help. Cheers |

have you had a look on realoem? that will at least give the shock absorber part numbers.
If you're lucky someone might know the spring numbers but i've seen that people have to call up their dealer for spring numbers as they vary so much by model |

I did check on realoem prior to my post but here's the thing:
If you match the front bmw part numbers with Billstein shocks, the front shocks are listed for cars with sports suspension and for Sachs they are matched with M-tech cars. If you cross-reference the bmw part numbers for the rear shocks then you will find out they are matched with standard chassis for Bilstein and M-tech cars for Sachs. I was not able to find out the bmw part numbers for the springs because they are not listed at all on realoem. That's why I was asking if somebody has swapped the shocks and springs on their efficient dynamics edition. I'm trying to replicate that stock setup(15mm drop) From realoem: LEFT FRONT SPRING STRUT SACHS 1 31316796159 FRONT RIGHT SPRING STRUT SACHS 1 31316796160 EXCHANGEABLE IN PAIRS ONLY shock absorber, rear SACHS 2 33526796157 |

Thanks for the info, it may come in handy in the future.
It's not the easiest thing to find info for the efficient dynamics, almost all 320d info is for standard cars |
