LCI Xenon headlight aiming

I've been on a bit of an adventure trying to replace my LCI Xenon adaptive headlight assemblies. I purchased the ZKW oem assemblies, but now I'm on my third left-side assembly where the Xenon bulb cannot be aimed properly. First one couldn't aim low enough, second exchange was aimed too far left, and now the third one I've received is aimed too far to the right. The adjustment just hits a limit where the bulb holder doesn't move any more even though the adjuster can still be turned with a screwdriver.

Somehow I lucked out I guess and the right-side is perfect and easily adjustable.

Is there some way to reset the xenon holder internally? I don't know if they get bumped out of position in shipping or what but this seems crazy that three in a row have the xenon out of wack.

TIA
