Chrome 162s

Has anybody here thought about just taking your 162s to a shop and getting them chromed????

I honestly like the way the 162s look on a my 330i and I don't see myself spending 5 G's on some ACS Type IV

Just a thought, does anybody here have any input??

whatever you do do not chrome 162's!! It's a pretty "filled-in" wheel so it will look absolutely ridiculous chromed Also, all with all that surface on the wheels they will be a few pounds heavier EACH if you chrome them. If you chrome these things it will look like your car is rolling on chrome discs when you're rolling on the highway.

If you MUST chrome, at least pick something that's not as filled in as the 162's. Something like a 5 spoke wheel.

I am not a fan of chrome wheels as you can tell.

I test drove a 330 sport with chrome.... I think it looked nice. I am a person though who cannot see driving a car without chrome... to each his own...

I guess that Terps is right. I like chromed wheels but I love the way 162's look on my 330i.

Thanks for your input!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
